Our journey, one voice at a time
Discover the heartfelt inspiration behind Broken Voices Anthology, a movement dedicated to empowering young people. Learn why every child's voice, no matter how quiet, holds the power to shape a better future.

Why we're called 'broken voices'
The name 'Broken Voices' stems from a deeply personal place: the moments when children try to speak but their voices are ignored, misunderstood, or silenced. It’s for those who have been spoken over, about, or for. My daughter, having seen how easily children’s voices can be lost in systems not built for them, spearheaded this project. She experienced first-hand how her ideas, feelings, and dreams were often overlooked, leading to a profound desire to ensure no other child feels voiceless or invisible. This project is her way of saying, “I don’t want anyone else to feel like I did.” Remember, children aren’t broken; it’s only their voices that can feel broken when unheard.

Our vision for change
We aim to illuminate the light at the end of the tunnel, proving that a collective voice can bring true change. It's okay to speak up, and as a community, we can make a difference together, shaping future and current policymaking to truly represent the voices of young people. We want to ensure the impact children face changes for the better, making our world more equitable and understanding for all.
